Wreck the Halls
Content warnings: blackmail, bullying, estranged parent, long-term family lies
Melody and Beat's mothers are mortal enemies, but they were made for each other.
Melody Gallard and Beat Dawkins met once when they were 16, but they've been thinking about each other ever since. They're connected by their mothers, members of the iconic 90s band Steel Birds. Steel Birds broke up 30 years ago, and no one knows why.
When Beat and Melody are approached by a TV producer with an offer to do a livestream reality show about reuniting the band starring the children of the rockers, Melody accepts because Beat says he needs the money. Their goal is to livestream the reunion concert on Christmas Eve... if Melody and Beat succeed.
The characters and their magnetism towards each other reel you in, but you'll stay to find out what everyone is hiding and if the band will get back together. The romance scenes are rated R, so avoid this book if that's not what you came for. Otherwise, recommended for anyone who enjoys romances, especially those revolving around celebrities and/or Christmas.
