Kate signs up for twelve blind dates leading up to Christmas.
Kate is single and living in her country hometown outside of London. After a 4-year relationship went sour, she forgot about dating and focused on her career. Kate's BFF Laura convinces her to sign up for a travel-based twelve dates through online dating company Lightning Strikes.
Kate has a series of both wonderful and disastrous dates, many of which don't lead her to want a second. Any romance-savvy reader will see where Kate's heart truly lies before she does.
Elizabeth Knowelden is a good narrator and her English accent adds to the atmosphere of the novel.
Recommended for those looking for a warm Christmas romance, even if it is a predictable one.
