About Me

Hello! My name is Courtney and I am a certified, MLIS-holding librarian that works in collection development for a public library system. I select fiction titles in both print and digital formats. I hold degrees from the College of Charleston, the University of South Carolina, and the College of William & Mary.

 

I like to read historical fiction, women's fiction, and fantasy (both adult and YA). I've always been reading, but only started listening to audiobooks in 2018. I live in Charleston, SC with my husband and pet rabbit Ciara.

Hogwarts is my home, and I'm a Ravenclaw or Gryffinclaw. My Ilvermorny house is Thunderbird, which further confirms my Gryffinclaw status. I guess I'm not particularly brave, but I'm a bookworm who likes to go on adventures! My favorite Harry Potter character is Hermione Granger (obviously!). I also enjoy Star Wars/The Mandalorian, Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who (David Tennant is my Doctor), and more TV shows and movies than I can list here. I am a professional binge-watcher when I'm not reading.

In my spare non-reading time, I like to play video games and do crafts including knitting, Cricut, scrapbooking, and cross stitch. I do all of these in phases, and usually not more than two at a time!
