Boss Witch

Clementine is a witch who must hide her coven's existence from a witch hunter.

When a witch hunter arrives in their small town, Clementine Waterhouse's coven must take action to avoid discovery. With her magic hidden, Clem arranges to meet the hunter at a local bar. She's drawn to his English accent and she's also physically attracted to him. Clem is dating the irresistible Gavin to distract him from his witch hunt, but she also ends up diverting herself.

Clementine is torn between loyalty to her sisters and her desire for the hunter. Gavin is also torn between the duty to his family's line of work and his feelings for Clem. Eventually, the coven is found out and they must fight to keep their powers and escape persecution.

Clementine runs the Fix-It Witches shop with her cousin Danica. Danica's love story with the local baker is chronicled in the first novel of the series, Witch Please. The first appearance of witch hunter Gavin also happens in the first novel.

Recommended for fans of witchy novels like Practical Magic and A Discovery of Witches. Readers who enjoy enemies to lovers romances will also appreciate the novel.

I read the first book in this series, Witch Please, and enjoyed it. I knew this hunter was coming, and now I have to read this book!
